Black Lives Matter: Home

A collective list of resources to help you better understand and support the Black Lives Matter Movement.

The "Black Lives Matter" List

Vise Library has put together the following list of resources in connection with the "Black Lives Matter" movement, which includes but is not limited to: protests, racism, slavery, the Civil Rights Movement, and other issues related to social justice. We have also included literature and personal narratives created by Black authors and illustrators, which give voices to the Black American experience.

Anyone from the Cumberland University community can access these resources, and we encourage everyone to do so in order to educate themselves, educate others, and support the people in this country that have faced discrimination and injustice because of their race.

All of our librarians will be glad to help you locate these materials.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions on what materials to add to the list, please email us at library@cumberland.edu or call us at 615-547-1299.
